Dilay Özdemir Earns Her First Cap with the Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team!

Max Potential athlete and Eczacıbaşı Dynavit's young setter Dilay Özdemir took a major step forward in Italy after being called up to the Turkish Women's National Volleyball Team. Donning the national jersey at the AIA AeQuilibrium Cup Women Elite tournament held in Modena from May 23–25 as part of preparations for the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Nations League (VNL), Dilay reached one of the most significant milestones of her career.
The excitement began with Turkey defeating Germany 3-1 in the tournament's opening match and peaked when Dilay Özdemir took to the court against Italy in the second fixture. The 19-year-old setter fulfilled her dream of wearing the senior national team jersey and had the honor of representing Turkey on the international stage.
This moment comes as no surprise for Dilay Özdemir — it is the natural culmination of consecutive achievements over the past two years. At the 2024 U20 European Championship, Dilay claimed the title along with the MVP and Best Setter awards, added a silver medal at the U21 Balkan Championship, and earned another silver at the U19 World Championship. At club level, the young setter features in the Eczacıbaşı Dynavit senior squad and continues to shape her career both on and off the court within a professional framework with the support of Max Potential.
"Stepping into the senior national team is every athlete's dream. Dilay turned that dream into reality at the age of 19 — and this is only the beginning." As the Max Potential family, we wholeheartedly congratulate Dilay Özdemir on this historic moment and are proud to stand by her side throughout the 2025 VNL journey and at every stage of her career.
