Young Athlete Şevval Çakal Shows Great Determination on the Road to Paris 2024!

National athlete Şevval Çakal continues to turn heads with her ambition and discipline as she pursues her dream of competing at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Having redefined her future goals following the gold medal she won at the European Championship, our athlete steadily climbs the ladder of success with confident strides.

"Like every athlete, I have an Olympic dream. Just imagining myself on that stage in Paris gives me incredible motivation," said Şevval, who is currently in an intense preparation phase for the Senior Turkish Championship as well as the European and World Championships. Meticulously planning every detail from her nutrition regimen to her sleep schedule, our athlete is carrying out her work more efficiently with the contributions of the Max Potential family.

Maintaining a rigorous daily training program of two to four hours, Şevval notes that this intensity has become a way of life for her: "The hard part isn't a demanding schedule — it's not having goals. The brain draws its strength not from muscles, but from the targets you set. That's why always knowing my purpose keeps me strong."

Revealing that she was inspired by legendary Turkish national team member Nur Tatar when she first started taekwondo, our athlete expressed great pride in now being able to train alongside her. Şevval also encourages those around her to take up sports, stating, "Taekwondo is a discipline that builds self-confidence and self-respect. Sport should definitely be part of children's lives — whether it's taekwondo or any other discipline, it doesn't matter."

Pointing to the day she became European Champion and sang the Turkish National Anthem alongside her teammates as one of the most unforgettable moments of her championship career, our athlete shared her vision for the future: "These moments are a tremendous source of pride for us. But we won't stop here — we will continue to write new stories."
